Reder ate a ton of apples yesterday - some at preschool, an entire apple for an afternoon snack, and 3 helpings of apple sauce at dinner. Here was our exchange at dinner:
Mom: "Reder, you can't have more applesauce, you're going to get the poops."
Reder: "Apples give you the poops? Do you know what else does? Dried plums - prunes!"
Mom: "Who told you that?"
Mom: "Who told you that?"
Reder: "Gramma Janet!"
Today we were driving in the car and we drove by a car plastered with Obama stickers. Jason and I were talking about it, and Reder asked us who Obama was. We tried to explain it to him. Then he says "Do you know who likes Obama? KARIE!" (You will only laugh at this one if you know my sister.....and know that she most definitely does not like Obama).
And yesterday Ruby pointed to her dresser and said "Ruby's clothes hidey seek!"
Anyway....some pictures.
I got some little pumpkins at the store and let the kids paint them. This was fun!
Of course Ruby's ended up entirely brown, and Reder's has nice lines of color (in the same order) on one side, and a smiley face with eyelashes on the other.
Reder's preschool got a new guinea named Cinnamon. Of course we signed up right away to bring Cinnamon home for the weekend. He's not quite as tame as Snowball (or Noseball, as Ruby would say) and Black Beauty, but he will learn.
I think this aftenoon we are going to try to go on a little hike somewhere around Big Sky...they say it is supposed to be 70 today, but from how cold it was this morning it sure has a lot of warming up to do!

Speaking of quotes: I mentioned that Reder and Ruby might go to Disneyland. Wally responded, "I want to go to Disneyland." Joel asked, "Do you even know what Disneyland is?" Wally responded, "Yes, lots of Disneys live there!" Guess we are off the hook. Who wants to go see a bumch of Disneys anyway?
