Ruby is One!

It's hard to believe but our Ruby is one! We had a fun weekend celebrating.

On Friday we went to AED, as they were nice enough to throw a little party for her. Deb made fabulous cupcakes:

I made Ruby a pig cake for her birthday party we had on Saturday. Ruby started out oinking whenever she saw a pig in a book, etc., but lately it's morphed into oinking at anything - the dog, the birds outside, Aunt Karie. So, I thought a pig cake was fitting. Notice I got a little carried away with the pink gel food coloring:

It was nice enough on Saturday we could eat lunch outside. We had chicken and baked beans, Ruby's favorite. Karie brought her some fun balloons:

Ruby got a lot of really cute clothes for her birthday - which was great because she's pretty much grown out of everything. Thanks everybody! Happy birthday Rubes!
