On Thursday Reder woke up with the sniffles. It wasn't too bad, but he seemed generally tired, and I felt like we needed an unscheduled, free day. Plus, the weather was so amazing! So we decided to skip gymnastics and go on a picnic up the canyon instead. What fun! Here the kids are sitting on the boat ramp, throwing some rocks into the reservoir:
I packed a lunch for each of us in a lunchbox (we have a few around here). Kids thought that was so cool. They both ate every last bite!
They decided they wanted to finish their juice sitting on some big rocks. 
All in all, the picnic was a good idea. Gymnastics will always be there - nice weather will not!
