...in the springtime, you shovel the snow from the piles on the side of the driveway, onto the driveway, so they actually melt.
Our house faces north, so we had a serious mountain of ice right next to the driveway that is covering plants/flowers that I would sure love to see before June. I worked on shoveling snow onto the hot asphalt all week and thought I made good progress. Then Jason worked at it for an hour on Saturday and put my work to shame. Oh well, we're making progress. The ice mountain is almost gone now!
