On our way home from South Dakota last week we decided to stop at the Billings Zoo. It was about 75 degrees out and gorgeous, and kids needed a break from the car anyway. It's right off the interstate so was quite easy. We had a blast! And it always seems like spur-of-the-moment things are more fun anyway, though that's something hard for this "planner" to do.
Anyway, here is a cute picture of an otter. They were very interested in us:

This last picture is just plain funny. Ruby stood and watched some other kids stick their heads through these wooden cut-outs so their mom could take their picture. After they left Ruby wanted to do it too. She motioned for Jason to take her picture, and she oinked to indicate she wanted to stand in the pig. The picture didn't turn out that great but that's okay. Silly kid.:
