Katie says that it is finally summer. And everyone seems to be enjoying it.
They have been out hiking for three days in a row now. Wednesday Karie went with Katie, Reder, and Ruby up South Cottonwood Canyon. Yesterday they went to the same trail again, replacing Karie with Papa Rob and Gamma Janet. (That trail is one of our favorites, we go there frequently). Reder says that he doesn't walk. "Only run and stop." And it seems that stopping is rare.
Today I left work early and we went up to Palisade falls. This is the only hike I have pictures of. I agree with Reder that this is an "awesome waterfall." But it was thundering and looking like rain, so we didn't spend much time there before running back to the car.
