We have good friends.

Our friends Jon and Leann were gracious enough to plan an anniversary party for Jason and I. How nice! All of our good friends (AED et al) were invited. We BBQ'ed, despite the lovely weather. (I am teaching Reder the meaning of sarcasm, and the prior sentence would be an example). Jon kept taunting me with the surprise, and that we were going to recreate something unique from our wedding (most of them were there for that event). We were racking our brain trying to think of what Jon was talking about. Turns out it was the potato gun - we had completely forgotten we shot the potato gun at our wedding reception. So, Jon built a replica (named it the D10 for "Daughenbaugh 10"). Here is Jon posing with his handiwork:

It was raining but we went outside for a test-fire anyway. Static Guard worked as the fuel. Gosh, it was Loud.

I thought Ruby would be scared but she just wanted Daddy to shoot it more:

We ladies were freezing:

Reder wanted to wear his sailor outfit for the party:

All in all it was wonderful. Thanks guys, you're all the best!
