Reder's Montana Birthday Party

Reder already had a birthday party in Texas, but today we had one at home.

But first a picture of Ruby after church- this is a dress that Aunt Mary made for her - although probably not the way Mary expected - with a white t-shirt under it, pink boots (Ruby's choice), pink hat, and pink sunglasses - Ruby loves pink.

After afternoon rest/naps, Gramma Janet, Papa Rob, and Aunt Karie came over for Reder's party - he was very excited. First he got to open an outdoor present from Gramma and Papa - a wagon!
No pictures of the meal, but we had pigs-in-a-blanket, something Reder would love, but he was almost too excited to eat. After eating, he figured it was time to open presents. I gave him some Legos, of course:
Papa Rob gave him a home-made knife (dulled), whith a home-made leather sheath. Very nice!
Opening presents is a lot of fun!
Next up was cake. Reder wanted a Shamu cake. I think we did well:

Ruby loved the cake and ice cream.
Even though Reder really wanted a cake, he didn't like it. But he did like the black frosting...

Black Frost makes purple lips. Here he is comparing his lips to Gramma Janet:
