Yesterday, after my blog entry, we kept busy getting ready for Easter. We made easter cookies - Reder loves to roll out dough and use cookie cutters, and decorate with sprinkles. Then Reder took some cookies to the neighbors and had a great time playing with them for awhile (with Mom of course). We had pizza for dinner, then put Ruby to bed, then dyed Easter eggs. He was so exhausted by the end of the day he went right to sleep around 7:30. Of course he didn't nap so that made him all the more tired. Then after the kids were in bed we stayed busy playing Easter Bunny - hiding eggs, assembling baskets, etc. Being a parent is fun!

Today we let Reder find his Easter eggs and play with the stuff in his basket, then we all got ready and went to church. We went a little early to enjoy breakfast from the youth group. Ruby didn't nap today so she was a little squirrely during church but it all worked out in the end. Look at those Dimples!
After church we came home with Gramma Janet and Papa Rob, and when we got here who could it be playing in Reder's playhouse but the Easter Bunny! Reder figured it out right away that it was Karie (I think he saw her car) but it was still pretty funny. We enjoyed a great meal of prime rib, potatoes, jello, pasta salad, rolls, and cherry pie. We let Reder open one birthday gift - the one from us. If you can believe it he will be three tomorrow! We got him a trainset...not Thomas, it's so expensive. This is a different brand but cheaper, but is compatibile with all of his other Thomas stuff. He thought this was too cool. Needless to say, having a new trainset downstairs, as well as Gramma and Papa, resulted in no nap again. This is becoming a trend. Everybody left and the four of us went on a nice long walk. It was absolutely gorgeous today so we had fun. Fed kids some dinner, gave them a bath, played a little bit, then to bed with both of them. Whew, busy day!
Ready for Easter dinner:

Reder was excited to eat but when it came down to it he sure didn't eat much:

Ruby in her sundress from Auntie Karie. She is a bit subdued. She is getting teeth and hasn't been herself lately:

One happy boy:

Sadly this is the only picture of Ruby we got in her cute Easter dress (Kelly - it's Maddie's!). Bad parents!!:

Is that the Easter bunny?:
