Start of Winter

Sunday night we told Reder that the forecast called for snow. He was very excited.

He was a bit disappointed when he woke up in the morning and it was raining, not snowing. But just then, as we were looking out the window, the rain changed to snow. This was even better - the snow waited for him!

Reder and Ruby were very excited, and these pictures are from withing half an hour of when the snow started. It snowed most of the day and overnight, so we had maybe 8" of wet snow by Tuesday morning, a bit less on the driveway since it was melting some. But it was warm and partly sunny Tuesday, so it melted off of roads, etc. But we still have some snow left in our yard.
