November Already

We started off November on a sad note - with my Grandma Daughenbaugh passing away. She was an amazing lady, and had a wonderful life. We traveled to Rapid City for the funeral. It was great to spend time with friends and family.
Ruby just loves her "Papa."
Ruby also loved the ATV:
Reder had a great time too, learning to count tree rings:
And walking on the balance beam (an old telephone pole):

Reder and Ruby had a great time with cousin Wally. Reder calls him Wallace, Ruby calls him "WaWa."

We took a trip to the Reptile gardens. We all had a great time - the animals seemed very active. I got a cobra to flare out its neck and strike at my hand (with glass between, I still flinched).

It was neat to see bananas growing:
We had been planning to go to the ranch for Thanksgiving, but this trip took its place. So we decided to celebrate Thanksgiving early.

Complete with 5 Pies! (Pumpkin, Pecan, Rhubarb-cream-cheese, Apple, and Blueberry, plus a cream-cheese mini-pie.
