Candy Sushi

First of all, I can never seem to upload my pictures in the right order. This is one I was just going to throw in at the end. Ruby got up one morning with Dougie (her little blanket with a bear head) stuffed in her shirt. She didn't seem to know it was there. She ate her breakfast then wanted to know where Dougie was - kinda like having your glasses on your face and wondering where they are! It was funny. Notice the snow in the background - yes this photo was taken in June.

Ah, another photo in the wrong order. THis is Ruby wearing her ballerina skirt from the Kay's. Thanks guys, you're the best!

Speaking of the Kay's, Steffany came over one afternoon and brought all the fixin's to make candy sushi. She had done it with a little girl she mentors and it was a hit! We thought it was pretty fun too! You make overly-sticky rice krispie treats for the rice, smear that inside a fruit roll-up, add some candied fruit, roll, slice, and sprinkle with Pop Rocks. What could be better! Actually, it sounds gross but was remarkably good. We had a blast. Thanks again Steff!
