Just some photos from things we did in the days after Christmas...
We took a trip up to Hyalite reservoir one cold morning. The frost in the sun made everything sparkle.

There were some ice-fishermen out fishing, and Reder got to look in a hole they had drilled.
Cubby and Skippy had a great time running around too.
On Sunday we went out to dinner to celebrate Gramma Mary's birthday one day early (since they were leaving the next morning). We were sad to find that our old favorite restaurant, the Gourmet Gas Station, had recently closed, but we instead had a great meal at Stacy's in Gallatin Gateway:
An interesting kid's menu item popular with Ruby: breaded-and-fried blobs of macaroni and cheese. What's not to like?
