This last week we were on a family trip. Our first stop was a weekend at the Reder ranch. The kids were great in the car:
Our first activity was riding the 1880 train from Hill City to Keystone - this is an old steam train that can be heard from the ranch. Gramma Mary, Katie, and Reder and Ruby rode the train while Papa Randy and I drove to Keystone to pick them up.
A definite Highlight for Reder was driving Papa Randy's Bobcat. If you look closely in these pictures you can see that Reder is Driving by himself - it is just like driving Daddy's lawn mower.

Reder helped scoop dirt:
A highlight for Ruby was Grandma's Lasagna followed by an ice cream cone:
Sunday was much cooler, so we played indoors. This included Reder playing "the alphabet game" with letter magnets on the door:
And a trip to Cabella's:
Monday morning there was a ton of wet, heavy snow. The oak tree tried to hide our car:
The snow-covered driveway proved difficult for the minivan, but we eventually made it on our way to Colorado. Thanks Gramma Mary and Papa Randy!
