The other day we went to our neighbor's house for dinner and a visit from Santa. After dinner there was a knock at the door and who might it be but Santa himself! The kids weren't sure at first but they warmed up to the idea once they realized he was coming inside, and that he had PRESENTS! Here are some excited kids:
Ruby thought he was cool until we actually wanted her to sit on his lap. No way! She screamed and reached out for anyone who would grab her, who happened to be a dad sitting next to Santa that she didn't really know. She didn't care, she just wanted away from that scary guy!:
Reder wasn't too thrilled about sitting on his lap either, so he sat on our neighbor Shaun's lap to get his gift:
All in all, my kids were the only party-poopers of the bunch. Everyone else was perfectly happy to sit on his lap, and even Reder covered his ears while we all were singing a couple of Christmas carols with Santa. What?? Anyway, fun evening!
